The Designer

I am a bespoke bridal wear designer based in Marple, Stockport, with a passion for creating timeless, elegant designs with highly developed skills and couture techniques.

After earning a First-Class Honours degree in Fashion design from Sheffield Hallam University, I spent over a decade honing my skills in the design industry, working alongside some of the most talented designers and top businesses in the field. In 2017, I took the leap to start my own business in my dream industry...Bridal! I am a sucker for romance and whilst I started the business creating beautiful garments for all special occasions I recently made the decision to dedicate my expertise solely towards bridal wear, helping brides feel their most beautiful and confident on their special day.

As a designer, I pride myself on being approachable and down to earth, making the experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible for my brides.

Outside of work I am a proud new mum to a wonderful baby boy who inspires me every day to achieve my best and make him proud. I adore my two miniature dachshunds, Hugo and Doris, who join me and my family on escapes to Abersoch and Anglesey whenever we can for windy walks on the beach! I can often be found with a coffee in my hand by day and a large glass of wine by night, enjoying life's little moments with those I love.

The Experience

By working on a private appointment basis, Hannah gives you all of her undivided care and attention. The aim is for you to experience a professional, creative and personal service that you deserve in the run up to your wedding day.

Dependant on the nature of the dress or garment, the process typically requires 3 - 4 fittings to ensure we achieve the look exactly as you dreamt with an impeccable fit. In some circumstances additional fittings may be needed. Bridal gowns should allow 9-12 months for the process to be complete. A faster time frame is possible if your wedding is less than 9 months away, please just get it touch and we will do our best to accommodate if we can.

In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere you can browse through and try on any pieces from the current collection in the studio to get a better understanding of what you are looking for. There will be an opportunity to look through the extensive range of fabric and lace catalogues to pick fabrics that best suit the look you are wanting to create.

We will advise you on the most suitable if you have a particular look in mind.

A beautiful range of hand made hair accessories and jewellery is also available to try on and purchase or we can design bespoke pieces just for you to compliment your dress.

If by the end of the appointment you are happy with the design we have created, specific body measurements will be taken and over the following weeks Hannah will draw up your pattern and make your design using calico mock up fabrics. In your second appointment the mock up garment will be fitted to your body and any necessary adjustments will be made to ensure the perfect fit. At this stage you will be able to make any design changes and only when you are 100% satisfied will Hannah begin creating the design in your final chosen fabrics.

We will require several follow up fittings until your bespoke dress or garments are complete.

Hannah will work with you through every stage and will recommend and advise you on silhouettes, materials, embellishments and custom made accessories to make you shine on your day.
